The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Chase for the Championship Cup started off with a great race! And it did so at one of the tracks that I've always considered to be the most boring in all of NASCAR! Suddenly Chicagoland offers high speeds, multiple race grooves, opportunities for passing, and three wide - "rubing's racing" style competition. In other words "DANG - THAT WAS A GREAT RACE!" Brad Keselowski made a late race pass in between two cars fighting for the lead and captured the Checkered Flag!

The race at Chicagoland was the first race in the final ten race "CHASE" for the Championship. Keselowski has a solid argument on why he would be the driver to beat going forward. And, on his amazing pass - the driver says he was so busy driving that he just kept going and didn't really have time to think about it. But, he knew if he didn't that he would regret it latter!
“I don’t really know what happened, I just know we got to the lead,” Keselowski said of the late-race battle. “There was traffic and I was just digging and in the zone. The recorder was turned off so I don’t remember what happened. I had my head down doing all I could do.”
