The NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship Chase to a turn into the wall for several drivers this weekend due to tire failures. When you see interviews with people from Goodyear you know something's up when it comes to tires. Dale Earnhardt Jr and Brad Keselowski were two Chase drivers that suffered tire failures. The blow out for Earnhardt sent him into the wall while he was just cruising around in the lead. Keselowski suffered a similar fate when his tire failure sent him flying towards the wall later in the race. The end result is that Earnhardt Jr and Keselowski find themselves at the back of the Chase leader board along with Jimmy Johnson who was collected in a wreck not of his doing.
Dale Earnhardt Jr, Brad Keselowski, Kasey Kahne, Matt Kenseth and Kevin Harvick all had tire issues. The question is should Dale and Brad have a grudge against Goodyear for possibly bringing bad tires to the track? Or, is it just a racing thing?
