John Wes Townley had a rough week this past week in the NASCAR Camping World Truck series when his Zaxby's Truck smashed into the back of the truck in front of him as he came to the green flag at PIR. Now the driver is looking for a strong finish at the season ending races in both the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series as well as the Nationwide Series which will be renamed the Xfinity series for the 2015 season. The driver admits that it's been an up and down year. The driver suffered a head injury at the beginning of the season during a crash which forced him to miss a few race weekends.

“It has been an up and down year,” John Wes Townley said. “Having to sit out after being injured put a damper on the season but we’ve been pulling ourselves up to try to get some solid finishes and continuity for the remainder of the year. Homestead is a great place to finish out the season and hopefully have a good finish for this Athenian Motorsports team and Zaxby’s. I can’t thank both of them for their support this year and I’m looking at trying to get a solid top 10 finish for them this weekend in Homestead.”

The Ford EcoBoost 200 NCWTS race is slated for Friday, November 14th, with the Ford EcoBoost 300 Nationwide Series race set for Saturday, November 15, 2014. The race weekend will be the last for the 2014 NASCAR season. The ARCA racing series completed it's schedule a few weeks ago.
