Elizabeth Garner, a former NFL cheerleader who allegedly tried to perform oral sex on a 12-year-old boy, took a plea deal that will keep her out of jail. Garner, age 42, pleaded no contest to a charge of reckless endangerment. She was arrested on charges of aggravated sexual battery and solicitation of a minor for rape of a child.The charges were reduced to a single felony count of reckless endangerment.
According to the police report he former cheerleader for the Tennessee Titans allegedly followed a 12-year-old boy into a bathroom while attending a party where she groped him and then tried to remove his shorts in an attempt to perform oral sex on him.
Garner told police she had been drinking and had "confused" the boy with a man at the party.
Part of the agreement is for Garner to attend AA meetings, submit to regular drug testing and not to have any contact with the young victim or his family. After 18 month the charges may be expunged from Garner's record if she stays out of trouble and abides by the rules of the agreement.
