NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver TJ Bell is ready for the next race! He will be piloting his MAKE Motorsports No. 50 Drivin For Linemen Chevy on the dirt track at Eldora Speedway. Wait... did I just type "dirt" and "NASCAR" in the opening paragraph? Dang straight I did!
The Camping World Truck Series is ripping a page out of the ARCA Racing Series playbook and once again hitting a dirt track. The ARCA drivers are used to this as dirt tracks are part of the regular national series.
This season NASCAR has decided that the move to dirt for the trucks was a great one so a second "MudSummer Classic" is set for Wednesday night. Bell says the race leaves him speechless! At the same time the driver was able to toss a shout out to Tony Stewart. "Smoke," also known as Tony Stewart, is a Sprint Cup Series Driver / Owner and the owner of Eldora Speedway.
"I'm kinda speechless," Bell said of the historic dirt track speedway. "Coming to a place with the heritage as this... place (Eldora). I'm excited and racing here is going to be tough. I want to give huge thanks to Tony Stewart and NASCAR for bringing us out here to this legendary track."
In order to get ready for the Mud Summer Classic Bell took the famed no. 75 Dirt Late Model of Beaver Motorsports out for his debut on dirt this past Friday night at Carolina speedway. He gained a lot of experience and got quicker during the race. At the end of the night there was not a single scratch on the car and is ready for more.
Being ready for more in NASCAR means more help on the hood! Bell says that the Drivin for Lineman Chevy will have some help from a few friends!
"The No. 50 Chevrolet Silverado will also sport logos for ACC Transport LLC and Knowledge Vine on the rear quarter panels."
