Justin Allison is getting pretty darned good on keeping up the family name. The driver hit Chicagoland Speedway for the NASCAR and ARCA Racing Series looking to finish close to the front and challenge for the win. The checkered flag was not in the cards but another finish in the top ten proves that Allison has the talent to take him to the top despite the car having some handling issues down the stretch.
"We were loose all weekend, but we finally got the car right where we needed it during that last caution," says Allison. "During the last few laps of the race, though, the car started to get really tight. The weekend could have gone better, but overall we did well and learned a lot this weekend. I have to thank HaVACo, Rush Racing Products and everyone at Team BCR for their commitment this weekend."
It was a tough day for the driver of the No. 88 HaVACo Ford Fusionas he started 8th and finished 8th but also slid back as far as the 19th position. He then worked his way up to the 5th spot before finishing 8th as the car slipped away during the final laps.
"We struggled a bit during the weekend but we definitely bounced back and made the changes we needed to finish strong," says 21-year-old Allison.
